Thank you for your interest in visiting this website. At Theodore Street, we
try to make all visitors welcome. Our worship is centered around the Word of
God as expressed in the Holy Bible. It is our joy to celebrate the Word every
Sunday through song, prayer, preaching, and the Lord’s Supper.
You need not be a Lutheran to visit us. We believe that God reaches out
through us to bring the Word to all people. If your heart is open to the idea
that by the grace of God through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ
our sins are forgiven, that is sufficient for you to be among us.
During Lent, we will be enjoying a simple meal of bread and soup followed
by a service of Evening Prayer. We find this midweek time a nice break to
the hustle and bustle of the week giving us time to take a breath, open our
hearts to God in prayer, and be refreshed for the rest of the week. We begin
this celebration at 6:00 p.m. and conclude about 7:30 p.m. We welcome you
to join us then.
